I have a project that I would like you to know about: Musical Sanctuary. Musical Sanctuary is the result of many years of working with the Connect & Glow™ meditation, adding music and developing themed meditations that offer healing solutions to some of life's challenges: how to let go, how to forgive, how to be content and at peace no matter what the current life circumstances and conditions might be.
In Spring 2023 I got organized and formed a nonprofit, Musical Sanctuary. It is a nonsectarian alternative to the traditional church paradigm. Musical Sanctuary offers contemplative services of music, readings, and guided and silent meditation, exploring different topics and principles related to spiritual growth and healing. The services (weekly, monthly, and/or randomly) are offered by Musical Ministers who have backgrounds in related practices and are Certified Connect & Glow Instructors (CGCI).
I will be presenting Musical Sanctuary in Hawaii in September and October, and a monthly Musical Sanctuary series in San Diego begins on October 12 (see all dates and locations below). All offerings are free, but donations to the Musical Sanctuary 501c3 are always welcome!
Besides presenting Musical Sanctuary myself, I am offering Connect & Glow and Musical Minister trainings for individuals and organizations. If you are, or know of, a musician who is interested in doing healing and uplifting work I would love to hear from you! The material is also awesome for spiritual centers, ordained ministers, therapists/counselors, yoga teachers, high school teachers, HR departments - Connect & Glow is simple, accessible, yet deeply effective, suitable for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners. Stuart Moody, my brother, is contributing insightful, lighthearted, and wisdom-filled curriculum for children. So, please pass this email along to anyone you think might be interested.
Also, I am completing a book for the general public about the Connect & Glow practice and creating spiritual community; more to come about that. It includes instructions for several Connect & Glow meditations (Simply Being, All Heart, Forgiveness, and more), ideas for group book study, prayer/healing circles, and basic curriculum for children and teens.
